Our reputation is built on precision, durability, and excellence — values we uphold in every product we manufacture. We are looking for a highly experienced Production Manager with a strong background in the plastics and injection moulding industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the full production and injection moulding operations.
  • Plan and manage production schedules to ensure consistent output, minimal downtime, and optimal efficiency.
  • Ensure product quality meets company standards and client specifications.
  • Supervise and guide production staff, maintaining discipline and a positive work ethic.
  • Implement and monitor the SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) management system.
  • Safety: Ensure all machinery and factory operations meet occupational safety standards, preventing injuries and promoting a safe working environment.
  • Health: Monitor workplace conditions, hygiene, and employee wellness, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
  • Environment: Ensure responsible waste management, recycling practices, and environmental compliance in all manufacturing processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scrap rates, improve cycle times, and enhance machine performance.
  • Conduct regular production and performance meetings with supervisors and team leaders.
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure machine reliability and efficiency.
  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly production reports to management.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the plastics and injection moulding industry (crate, packaging, or related sectors).
  • Proven track record as a Production Manager managing staff, machines, and production targets.
  • Strong technical knowledge of injection moulding machines, moulds, and production tooling.
  • Solid understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) legislation.
  • Hands‑on leadership style with strong communication, problem‑solving, and planning skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfortable with production reporting.
Qualification

Diploma or Certificate in Production, Operations, or Engineering Management (advantageous).

Formal Training

Formal training or certification in Injection Moulding or Plastics Manufacturing will be a strong advantage.
