Job summary

Ikwezi Mining (Pty) Ltd in Komatipoort, Mpumalanga, seeks a seasoned Production Manager to develop and implement production schedules, monitor daily activities, and optimize output across mining operations.

The role leads miners, engineers and support teams, oversees equipment maintenance, budgeting, reporting, and safety/regulatory compliance to drive efficient, safe performance and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology or related field is required.
• Certifications in mining safety/operations (e.g., Mine manager's Certificate) are advantageous.
• Minimum 10 years in coal mining operations with at least 6 years in supervisory or managerial roles.
