Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and manage daily production schedules to meet targets.
- Oversee production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
- Manage and supervise a team of general workers, ensuring high performance and accountability.
- Enforce health and safety standards, promoting a safe working environment at all times.
- Monitor production outputs and implement quality control procedures to maintain product standards.
- Assess project and resource requirements, and coordinate with relevant departments.
- Liaise with other managers to set production objectives and resolve operational challenges.
- Organize repairs and routine maintenance of production equipment.
- Identify training needs and arrange relevant staff development programs.
- Continuously improve production processes for greater efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for production staff and provide feedback.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Minimum of 7 – 10 years' proven experience in a production management role.
- Previous experience in the food industry is essential.
- Strong technical knowledge of production processes and quality control standards.
- Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and develop production teams.
- Experience in planning production schedules, resource allocation, and staff management.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
- Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
