Placements24 in Stellenbosch is seeking a Production Line Manager to lead a modern manufacturing facility. You will manage daily line operations, drive continuous improvement, ensure safety and quality, and develop a high-performing team of operators and supervisors.

Responsibilities include implementing lean methods, analyzing production data, and coordinating with QA to meet output targets and efficiency goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a production management or supervisory role within manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and quality management systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of assigned production lines, ensuring targets are met.
• Manage, motivate, and develop a team of production operators and supervisors.
• Implement and monitor lean manufacturing techniques to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with quality control to maintain high product standards and address any deviations.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and implement corrective actions for performance improvement.
