PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Production Leader is responsible for overseeing the production department to ensure efficient operations, achievement of production targets, and adherence to quality standards. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader with a passion for operational excellence, quality assurance, and team development in a secure, high‑volume production environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage production operations to meet throughput and quality targets.
- Allocate resources and manage shift schedules for optimal efficiency.
- Enforce quality standards and 5S practices across production lines.
- Oversee work orders, line setups, and ensure smooth shift transitions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and conduct risk assessments.
- Train and support team members, monitor performance, and promote accountability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments and ensure timely delivery of outputs.
- Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) regulations and PCI-CP standards.
- Ensures compliance with all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) regulations and company policies.
- Compliance: Adherence to company policies, regulations, and standards- PCI-CP/Corporate audits.
MINIMUM ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS
- National Diploma or Degree in Production Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Quality Management Systems (added advantage).
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- 5–7 years in a high-volume, secure production environment (e.g., card personalisation, printing, manufacturing).
- 3+ years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
- Familiarity with automated production systems, quality control tools, and compliance frameworks.
