Job summary

SABC is offering an internship in Johannesburg, focusing on evaluating production budgets line by line against pricing norms and ensuring resources are used efficiently. The role includes monitoring risk to protect project objectives and contributing to the Production Management Strategy.

You'll assist in delivering budgets, tracking expenditures, and closing projects on time while minimizing waste and irregular spending.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree / National Diploma in Film and Television Production/Communication / Financial / Cost Accounting/ Business Management or related equivalent qualifications
• PFMA knowledge would be advantageous
• Project management experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of the Production Management Strategy
• Implement the approved Production Management Strategy
• Maintain cost within the operational Production Management budget
• Effectively manage productions within the Video Entertainment approved budget
• Finalise production budgets and close projects within approved timelines
• Eliminate Fruitless and Wasteful Expenditure and Irregular Expenditure on production
