Job summary

A leading recruitment consultancy in South Africa is seeking a candidate for a technical role in the Agricultural Mechanisation Industry. The successful applicant will specialise in technical support across the product range and work closely with dealer workshops and clients. Candidates must have a technical qualification, excellent communication skills, and be fluent in Afrikaans and English. Extensive travel within South Africa is required.

Job Description

• Perform all physical technical work as required.
• Assist with the correct assembly and repairing of the implements as per specification in warehouse and field.
• Assist customers and employees with parts requirements and technical information.
• Assist our representatives to promote and sell equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Agricultural Mechanisation Industry.
• A technical qualification with background preferably in Agricultural machinery and spares.
• Knowledge of various farming practices, techniques and equipment.
• Experience with precision agricultural systems will be to your advantage.
• High level of computer literacy.
• An aptitude towards customer liaison with good communication skills.
• Great organisational skills and high level of neatness.
• A positive outlook on life, a self-challenging nature, and high levels of energy are required.
• The internal drive to succeed, regardless of the obstacles.
• Self-discipline to work without supervision with strict deadlines and work under pressure.
• Be able to speak and write both Afrikaans and English fluently.
• Willing to travel extensively for work within RSA and occasionally rest of Africa.
