Overview

We are looking for a Product Owner : ERP System Implementation (SysPro).

The successful candidate will lead the implementation of SYSPRO as the primary ERP system and oversee migration from existing ERP systems (including JDE and other disparate systems).

The ideal candidate will bridge business needs and technical execution, ensuring the new system aligns with strategic goals and enhances operational efficiency across the organization.

This role may involve working on other key projects across the business.

Qualifications

• Matric Certificate with pure Mathematics and a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• At least ten years’ experience with at least five years’ experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in a large‑scale ERP implementation, preferably with SYSPRO.
• In‑depth knowledge of ERP systems and business processes in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Strong experience managing third‑party vendors and complex, cross‑functional projects.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels.
• A strong understanding of system integration, data migration, and data governance principles.
• PMP, Agile, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
• Sensitive to deadlines and ability to interact in a team environment.
• Adapt quickly to change.
• Deep attention to detail and possesses excellent analytical, problem‑solving and customer service skills.
• Ability and aptitude to continuously search for enhancements and innovation.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver within agreed Service Level Agreements.
