Product Marketing Manager – Automotive Sector

Are you passionate about automotive innovation and strategic product marketing? We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Product Marketing Manager to lead the SUV and LCV product portfolio for a global automotive brand. This role offers the opportunity to shape product strategy, drive new model launches, and influence market positioning in a fast‑paced and competitive industry.

Duration – 6 months contract with the possibility of going permanent
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute product strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct market analysis, volume projections, and competitive benchmarking.
- Define product specifications and pricing strategies to maximize market share.
Product Management
- Manage the lifecycle of SUV, LCV, and commercial vehicle products.
- Collaborate with global teams on product development and variant management.
- Monitor technical and warranty issues for product improvement.
Research & Insights
- Lead customer, dealer, and competitor research initiatives.
- Organize focus groups and product clinics to gather actionable insights.
Marketing & Launch Management
- Develop marketing strategies and launch plans for new products.
- Define product positioning and unique selling propositions (USPs).
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful product introductions.
Project Management
- Oversee new model launch timelines and risk mitigation.
- Track project progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Communication & Training
- Deliver compelling product presentations.
- Support sales and marketing teams with product training and market analysis.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, or related field (Honours preferred).
- 7–10 years post‑qualification experience, including 3–5 years in product planning.
- Automotive OEM experience is essential.
- Strong understanding of product development, research methodologies, and analytics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools.
