Job description
Introduction

Responsible for leading the development, lifecycle management, and market strategy of the company's Radio Frequency (RF) antenna products.

This is a highly technical role and requires working cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to deliver innovative offerings aligned with business objectives.

Product Strategies
  • Defining the short, medium, and long‑term vision, strategy, and roadmap for the company's Radio Frequency (RF) products.
  • Identify market needs and customer pain points via research and competitive analysis.
  • Understand customer needs through close contact with internal as well as external customers.
  • Create new products, product lines, and evaluate new ideas for market uptake potential.
  • Analyse Product Business cases (financial & strategic).
  • Communication of the above strategy to all the relevant internal and external stakeholders.
Technology Research
  • Research and analysis of current and emerging technologies that may impact the company's product lines and potential strategies.
  • Advise internal and external stakeholders regarding the impact of the product on the market. petitor Product, Market and Landscape Research Research competitor products (strengths & weaknesses) and product comparisons (market, technical and pricing).
  • Translate the external landscape and product positioning into a strategy for the rest of the organization, internally.
Product Lifecycle Management
  • Develop internal and external product plans (roadmaps).
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations to design and launch new products or features.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories.
  • Defining of Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) across the sales regions.
  • Monitor product performance (e.g. adoption, sales, technologies) and initiate improvements.
  • Manage product upgrades, end‑of‑life transitions.
  • Ensure compliance with regional and technology regulations.
  • Manage the introduction of new products.
  • Monitoring and creation of short‑term and longer‑term product sales / production strategies.
Marketing
  • Create product marketing communications objectives.
  • Create product presentations and marketing materials together with the marketing team.
  • Market new and evolved products to internal and external customers.
  • Provide inputs and steer the product strategy at trade shows, and online including social media and other forms of online marketing.
Product Training & Support
  • Provide product overview training to internal and external sales stakeholders.
  • Present Product webinars, workshops, seminars, etc.
  • Provide technical advice to customers and detailed responses that will reflect the company brand.
  • Provide technical inputs and responses to tenders (RFx) to present the products accordingly.
Administration and Reporting
  • General correspondence and administration completed accurately and time‑sly.
  • Email, inbox, and data managed time‑sly and effectively.
  • Professional image maintained in all communication.
  • All reporting and feedback requirements met, and reports completed accurately and time‑sly, according to company requirements.
  • Adheres to departmental processes and standard operating procedures.
  • Supply statistics and information as requested.
Profile
  • B.Eng / BSc Engineering or Master's degree (advantageous).
  • RF, Electronics, or related experience (5 to 8 years).
  • Leadership experience (min 2 years).
