Job summary

Catch seeks a Software Engineer & Product Manager to blend coding with product direction in a hybrid role. You’ll work with clients, support onboarding, and translate insights into pragmatic features. The role evolves from client support to owning product decisions and roadmaps while shipping code in Python/Django.

You’ll collaborate with founders and senior staff across engineering and product, ensuring delivery aligns with client needs and business goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, CS, maths or finance.
Experience with Python and web development.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools.
Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Engage directly with clients to understand needs and how they use the platform.
Support onboarding, demos, and day-to-day queries to build understanding of real-world use cases.
Translate client requirements into clear product specifications and practical solutions.
Contribute to product design, ensuring features are intuitive, scalable, and aligned with client needs.
Develop and maintain the platform, including bug fixes, enhancements, and new features (Python/Django).
Work across client and technical contexts to inform product decisions and prioritisation.
Collaborate with the wider team to improve the product and client experience.
