Overview

BevZero is a global leader in dealcoholisation processes, products and equipment. The company provides beverage solutions such as product formulation, supply chain management, dealcoholisation, as well as white label and private label products for low and no-alcohol wines and ciders to a wide range of global clients. They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Product Development and Quality Manager to join the team at their Paarl Cellar.

Responsibilities
  • Product development of low and de-alcoholised wines (conduct research, identify potential ingredients and processes)
  • Managing the quality systems (FSC22000, FairTrade and Food Safety Systems)
  • Development of SOP’s for the laboratory and management of lab systems
  • SAWIS and Export administration
  • Management of relationships with external service providers (bottling and canning)
Qualifications
  • A relevant tertiary qualification
  • Experience in the wine industry
  • A keen interest in the zero-alcohol industry and processes
  • Analytical and meticulous
  • Well-organised and results driven
  • Strong attention to detail and an analytical approach to tasks
  • Excellent time management, planning, prioritising and coordination skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills and a strong sense of self-confidence
  • Highly adaptable, willing to learn and take on additional tasks where possible
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility for outcomes
