Job description

To create and increase brand awareness through maintaining pricing, shelf health, promotions, training of in-store sales consultants, and strong customer and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:
  1. Ensure product availability
  2. Check for and manage damaged stock process
  3. Check accurate pricing, promotional pricing, and competitor pricing
  4. Effective management of demo software on all live devices
  5. Training of store staff
  6. Engaging with shoppers
  7. Assisting and supporting store sales staff to drive sales versus competitor sales
  8. Implement and maintain POP material as per client brief
  9. Identify needs for promotions to increase sales and negotiate with store managers
  10. Increase forward share, floor share, and shelf share of products
  11. Negotiate for prime positions in store
  12. Drive slow-moving stock and allocate sufficient space to fast-moving stock
Effective Implementation of Promotions:
  1. Implement promotions according to head office and client requirements
  2. Maintain stock levels
  3. Maintain POP materials
Effective Administration:
  1. Complete reports accurately and on time
  2. Manage assets and equipment
  3. Utilize handheld devices/system to provide reports, feedback, and process returns
  4. Communicate execution and exceptions to relevant parties and gather feedback
  5. Ensure customer service and satisfaction
  6. Practice effective self-management
Minimum Requirements:
  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • 2 years’ experience in Telecommunications and Consumer Electronics
  • Driver's license plus own reliable car (preferable)
