Business Procurement Supervisor
Responsibilities
  1. Lead the procurement process for all areas of Geely Auto In the local market, with focus on Marketing, Trade Marketing & Logistics categories.
  2. This role is responsible for the timely and cost-effective sourcing of indirect goods and services.
  3. Collaborate closely with internal departments, including Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Finance, to understand purchasing needs and ensure alignment with business strategies.
  4. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers in key areas such as transportation, storage, promotion, advertising, and events, considering criteria such as quality, reliability, cost, and compliance capacity.
  5. Negotiate contracts with selected suppliers, ensuring favorable conditions in terms of prices, delivery times, quality, and service.
  6. Manage ongoing relationships with suppliers, monitoring their performance and resolving any issues or disputes that may arise during contract execution.
  7. Develop and implement strategies to optimize costs and improve efficiency in the supply chain and marketing activities, in coordination with internal and external teams.
  8. Conduct market analysis and monitor relevant trends in the automotive industry to identify improvement opportunities and maintain competitiveness.
  9. Participate in Tender processes and proposal evaluation, ensuring that requirements for quality, price, and time are met in all purchasing areas.
  10. Develop policies and procedures for purchasing processes, including strategies such as single source and supplier recommendation, ensuring transparency and efficiency in procurement operations.
  11. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchasing transactions and contracts, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and legal regulations.
Background
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Procurement, where of 3 years of marketing categories.
  • BS in Marketing, Administration or similar.
  • Experience in the automotive sector is a big plus. Mass consume sector is a plus.
  • Negotiation of marketing needs is a must.
  • Strong analytical and good communication skills.
  • Effective oral and written English communication skills – Additional languages (Chinese) are a big plus.
