Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure raw materials, ingredients, and packaging supplies in compliance with quality standards and business requirements.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and reliable supply.
• Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
• Manage existing supplier relationships, fostering collaboration and ensuring performance targets are met.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles, preferably within the FMCG or manufacturing sector .
• Demonstrated experience in negotiating with suppliers and managing contracts.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, inventory management, and cost control.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with procurement software is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective supplier and internal stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of local and international sourcing markets is beneficial.
• Located in or willing to relocate to the Upington, Northern Cape area, with a remote work option available.
