Job summary
A leading procurement firm in Cape Town is seeking an experienced procurement specialist to manage and support procurement activities across projects. Responsibilities include sourcing and negotiating with suppliers, ensuring compliance with policies, and preparing contracts. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in procurement, particularly in the Oil & Gas industry, and possesses strong negotiation and organizational skills.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in Oil & Gas.
 - Knowledge of Incoterms, shipping, and logistics is essential.
 - Must be willing to travel and understand local and international supplier markets.

Requirements
- 35 years procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management experience, ideally in Oil & Gas.
 
- Strong negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.
 
- Knowledge of Incoterms, shipping, and logistics.
 
- Proficiency in MS Office, Xero, and logistics systems.
 
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks.
 
- Team player with the ability to support senior staff.
 
- High integrity and a problem-solving mindset.
 
- Willingness to travel and strong knowledge of local and international supplier markets.
