What you'll do

Lead the day-to-day procurement process in collaboration with the Finance team to ensure budget adherence and seamless operations.

Identify and vet new technologies and products, researching cost‑effective solutions that meet business needs.

Manage supplier relationships by serving as the primary point of contact to ensure timely deliveries, efficient communication, and favorable terms.

Process purchase requisitions and place orders to fulfill forecasted needs for expansion and maintenance projects.

Prepare and maintain all procurement documentation, including purchase orders and contracts, ensuring accurate and up‑to‑date records.

Monitor and manage inventory and stock levels to ensure appropriate buffer stock is maintained and prevent shortages to minimise downtime.

What we are looking for

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operational procurement or purchasing role.

A good understanding of technology to support purchasing decisions.

Proficiency in financial administration, stock monitoring, and basic budget management.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, with expertise in creating and managing data sets, pivot tables, and formulas (e.g. VLOOKUP, INDEX / MATCH, IF statements).

South African Citizens preferred.
