Key responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for goods and services across business units (including activation materials, uniforms, printing, logistics, and premiums).
- Source, evaluate, and onboard suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, reliability, and compliance with company standards.
- Prepare RFQs, RFPs, and negotiate supplier contracts, payment terms, and SLAs.
- Maintain accurate supplier databases, pricing catalogues, and contractual documentation.
- Work closely with project and production teams to forecast procurement needs and plan purchases accordingly.
- Track purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier performance to ensure on-time and in-full delivery.
- Monitor and report on procurement spend, cost savings, and supplier compliance metrics.
- Support the implementation of procurement and supplier management policies across the business.
- Collaborate with finance for invoice reconciliation and to resolve supplier payment queries.
- Assist with BBBEE, ESG, and compliance reporting related to procurement and supplier development.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in supply chain management, procurement, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in BTL marketing procurement (agency or production environment essential).
- Proven understanding of the marketing production supply chain — including printing, POS, event infrastructure, branded materials, and logistics.
- Strong negotiation, commercial, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Own vehicle advantageous.
