Job summary

Chryso South Africa is recruiting a Procurement Manager based in Jet Park, Johannesburg. You will drive strategic sourcing, lead negotiations, manage supplier relationships, and ensure compliance while delivering cost savings and value.

The role requires a bachelor’s in chemistry or related field, professional procurement qualification, and 5+ years in procurement with at least 3 years as a manager. Strong data analytics and ERP experience are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Mitigate supply risks through contingency planning and supplier diversification.
• Drive savings initiatives and monitor procurement budgets.
• Analyze spending patterns and identify improvement opportunities.

• Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement requirements.
• Provide procurement guidance and support to business leaders.
• Ensure alignment between procurement activities and operational needs.

Chryso South Africa is recruiting a Procurement Manager who will be responsible for driving strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives that deliver cost savings, operational efficiency, and supplier excellence. The role leads contract negotiations, supplier relationships, and procurement projects while ensuring compliance, managing risk, and supporting business objectives through effective stakeholder engagement and data-driven decision-making.

This role will be based in Jet Park, Johannesburg.

Key responsibilities:

Strategic Procurement

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
