Procurement Coordinator job vacancy in Wellington.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the sourcing and procurement of crop protection and agricultural input products.
  • Support in developing and implementing effective commodity procurement strategies across multiple regions.
  • Coordinate logistics and stock management processes to ensure efficient product flow.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier and vendor relationships.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules to optimise value and reliability.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure accurate inventory control.
  • Support the Procurement Manager in reporting, budgeting, and data analysis

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Procurement, Inventory Control, Logistics Management, or a similar field OR Senior Certificate with a minimum of three years’ relevant procurement experience.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in procurement, inventory control, or logistics.
  • Exposure to the agriculture or crop protection industry will be highly advantageous.
  • Strong background in supplier negotiations, forecasting, and operational coordination.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Excellent organisational and planning ability.
  • Analytical mindset with solid financial acumen.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
