Procurement Coordinator – Manufacturing (Roodepoort | Hybrid)

Are you looking to grow your career in procurement and supply chain within a dynamic manufacturing environment? My client, a well-established manufacturer serving industrial and commercial clients, is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join their team in Roodepoort . This is a hybrid role – with only one day a week in the office .

What you’ll be doing :

Manage the end-to-end procurement process : supplier sourcing, evaluations, RFQs / RFPs, price negotiations, contracts, and purchase orders.

Monitor and report on supplier performance – ensuring on-time delivery, quality compliance, and cost competitiveness.

Oversee inventory control and align supply with production and logistics schedules.

Build and maintain strong vendor relationships while driving cost-saving initiatives.

Track spend trends, develop reports, and support continuous improvement in procurement efficiency .

Coordinate logistics and inbound deliveries with operations and warehouse teams.

What we’re looking for :

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Management, or a related field ( non-negotiable ).

2–5 years’ experience in procurement, supply chain, or sourcing – ideally in a manufacturing environment .

Strong skills in negotiation, contracts, and purchase order systems ; ERP or materials management system experience is a plus.

Excellent analytical skills , with solid Excel proficiency (cost analysis, spend dashboards, inventory tracking).

Strong communication and relationship-building abilities across cross-functional teams.
