Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in the City of Cape Town for the role of Procurement Buyer.

Responsibilities

The Procurement Buyer will be responsible for overseeing purchasing processes, managing purchase orders, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods.

Key tasks include sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, analyzing procurement data, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless operations.

The role requires a proactive approach to maintaining vendor relationships and optimizing purchasing efficiency.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Purchasing Processes, understanding of Purchase Orders, and a strong background in Purchasing

Advanced Analytical Skills to assess supplier performance and identify cost-saving opportunities

Strong Communication skills for handling negotiations and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders

Highly organized and detail-oriented to manage procurement workflows effectively

Relevant experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management
