Job summary

Our client is looking for a Procurement Administrator from an engineering/manufacturing industry with 3 years plus experience.

Requirements:

  • Matric and a procurement / supply chain or any related qualification
  • Procurement Software & Microsoft Office/Excel experience
  • 3 years Procurement Administration experience
  • Supply Chain experience – from raw to distribute

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Obtain quotes and raise purchase orders
  • Renaming invoices and reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Maintain supplier relationships.
  • Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of goods.
  • Check stock availability at our warehouse before placing orders.
  • Update warehouse stock sheet
  • Assist with stock counts.
  • Maintain documentation in folders, including delivery notes.
  • Update spreadsheets, raw ordering sheets/order and delivery information
  • Weekly meetings with project managers on finances and budgets
  • Help to manage COD payments.
  • Work with project managers and engineers
