Job summary

Faurecia Port Elizabeth is seeking a Process Engineer to support process development, tooling, and equipment management on assembly lines. You will validate product innovations, deploy process standards, and assist in tooling procurement and capacity planning.

The role requires 3–5 years in an industrial environment (automotive preferred) and strong problem solving with clear communication. A National Diploma or Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering or related trade is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level engineering/technical degree required.
• Industrial environment experience beneficial, automotive preferred.
• Solid problem solving and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Support process development and improvement.
• Validate product innovations and ensure deployment of process standards.
• Maintain tooling and equipment database and support capacity management.
• Assist with supplier interactions and procurement for tooling and equipment.
• Apply standards and best practices; ensure manufacturability of designs.
• Participate in tool and equipment validation, start-up and reception.
