Job summary

FirstRand Bank Limited is seeking a Banking Advisor in Private Wealth to support a team of Private Bankers in managing a portfolio of clients. You will provide analysis, research and sales/service fulfilment to identify opportunities and grow the client base.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in a financial sales/service environment and hold an RE5 with a Finance/Accounting degree. Networking and collaboration are encouraged to drive growth.

Qualifications

• RE5 Certificate with a Degree (NQF7) in Finance or Accounting.
• 2–3 years’ experience in a Sales/Service area of a financial environment.
• Not unrehabilitated insolvent.
• Willingness to network and collaborate in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in proactively managing a portfolio of Private Wealth Clients with a team of Private Bankers.
• Provide analysis, research and sales/service fulfilment to grow the client base.
• Identify opportunities for banking new clients and increasing existing relationships.
• Maintain effective stakeholder management and compliant governance.
