Job summary

FNB is seeking a Private Clients advisor to deliver holistic money management education and solutions across an allocated client portfolio. You will grow revenue while ensuring compliance and high service standards, advising on local and offshore fiduciary opportunities, philanthropy, and wealth protection strategies.

Ideal candidates hold an NQF7 degree in finance/economics/accounting with RE5; CFP is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Relevant NQF7 Level Degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting.
  • Completed RE5 qualification.
  • Preferred Qualification - Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
  • Experience - 3 to 5 years’ experience in Banking, Investment, Financial Planning, Wealth Management, and client facing environment.
  • Full understanding of money management principles.
  • Sound working knowledge of required business-related systems.
  • Sound working knowledge of Banking and Financial Services Regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge on wealth management creation and accumulation.
  • Wealth protection or risk knowledge.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to plan and organize work independently.
  • Proven track record in servicing a portfolio of clients and acquisition of new relationships.
  • Excellent knowledge of global financial markets and current affairs.
  • Ability to match client needs with appropriate product solutions.
  • Sound knowledge of Bank’s risk and other mandates to ensure good commercial judgment.

To deliver exceptional experience and education to Private Clients on basic wealth creation, accumulation and overall protection tactics to increase vertical sales index (VSI) and drive client retention and entrenchment through using contextual Money Management principles.

Are you someone who can:

  • Achieve revenue and profit targets by growing portfolio base, providing independent holistic advice and solutions that ensure revenue and profit growth.

  • Conduct client reviews within the context of client engagements and market all financial services solutions within the relevant business offering

  • Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own development.

  • Deliver customer experience excellence in own service delivery aligned to Organisational values and service standards.

  • Deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standards.

  • Prevent wastage and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs.

You will be an ideal candidate if you:

  • Relevant NQF7 Level Degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting.

  • Completed RE5 qualification.

  • Preferred Qualification - Certified Financial Planner (CFP)

  • Experience - 3 to 5 years’ experience in a Banking, Investment, Financial Planning, Wealth Management, and client facing environment.

  • Full understanding of money management principles

  • Candidates are required to have sign-off on the following sub-categories:

  • Sound knowledge of the Bank’s risk and other mandates to ensure exercising good commercial judgment while representing the Bank’s and the shareholders’ interests always.
