Job summary

FirstRand Limited is seeking a Wealth Manager in Port Elizabeth who will provide savings, investment and estate planning advice to high income clients, with focus on investments. The role sits within the Private Banking and Advisory Team and requires knowledge of FirstRand investment products and regulatory compliance.

The candidate should have 3–5 years’ wealth management experience, a relevant degree, and may have FP certifications.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Investment or Economics.
• Certified Financial Planner preferred (mentioned in ad).
• 3–5 years’ experience as a Wealth Manager with sales/advisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Formulate proposals in cash management, risk needs, investment planning, estate planning.
• Achieve gross production target as indicated in scorecard.
• Advise on and provide support to ensure effective resolution of customer queries.
• Analyse financial information to develop financial plans or proposals.
• Maintain knowledge of FirstRand products and governance requirements.
