Job summary

FirstRand Bank Limited is seeking a Banking Advisor in Private Wealth to support a team of Private Bankers in managing a portfolio of clients. You will provide analysis, research and sales/service fulfilment to identify opportunities and grow the client base.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in a financial sales/service environment and hold an RE5 with a Finance/Accounting degree. Networking and collaboration are encouraged to drive growth.

Qualifications

• RE5 Certificate with a Degree (NQF7) in Finance or Accounting.
• 2–3 years’ experience in a Sales/Service area of a financial environment.
• Not unrehabilitated insolvent.
• Willingness to network and collaborate in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in proactively managing a portfolio of Private Wealth Clients with a team of Private Bankers.

Comply with relevant statutory, legislative, policy and governance requirements as well as set processes and procedures related to area of specialisation. Provide sound services and recommendations based on customer and client needs, current information and trends. Achieve expected financial targets and uphold associated service levels.

You Will Be an Ideal Candidate If You Minimum Qualification - RE5 Certificate with a Degree NQF7 level in Finance or Accounting Experience - 2 to 3 years’ experience within a Sales/Service area of a financial environment.
