Cytel Inc. is seeking a Senior/Principal Statistical Programmer (SAS + R) for a remote role embedded with a pharmaceutical client.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Statistical Programmer in Biotech/Pharma Clinical Development Biometrics Team or similar
• Exceptional SAS programming skills and expertise in clinical development environment
• Extensive experience with CDISC standards (SDTM, ADaM, Define.xml) and FDA/ICH regulations
• Experience supporting regulatory submissions and interacting with FDA/global regulatory authorities
• Ability to work independently and lead
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and leadership abilities

Responsibilities

• Generate SDTM, ADaM specifications, datasets, reviewer’s guides and define.xml files for multiple studies
• Develop SAS programs to create datasets, listings, tables, and graphs
• Deliver high-quality programming results with SAS and/or R tailored to development programs
• Oversee CRO programmers to ensure high-quality deliverables on time
• Support preparation of clinical study reports, regulatory submissions, publications and DSURs
• Follow FDA regulations and good clinical practice for data submissions
• Contribute to standards for programming tools, outputs and macros
• Develop CRFs, edit checks and data validation plans
• Collaborate with internal/external partners to meet timelines and goals
• Provide review/author SOPs and work instructions for statistical programming practices
