Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Principal Project Manager to join our team on a major civil engineering project.

This is a crucial, full-time, on-site role that requires exceptional leadership and a deep understanding of complex infrastructure construction, particularly in the realm of bridges and highways.

Key Requirements

• Minimum of 20 years’ experience in planning and managing the construction of significant civil engineering works.
• At least 8 years must have been at a senior Project Manager level.
• Good understanding of the major issues affecting bridge construction projects of this nature and an appreciation for their environmental impacts.

Qualifications & Registration

• Professional Engineer registered with either the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) or the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP).
• Alternatively, an equivalent internationally recognized professional registration and/or legally required qualification applicable to the candidate's country of origin.

Essential Skills

• Exceptional communication skills and full fluency in English are non‑negotiable.
