Requirements

• PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Bioinformatics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in machine learning engineering, with a strong emphasis on bioinformatics or computational biology.
• Proven track record of leading complex ML projects from conception to deployment.
• Expertise in deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and classical machine learning algorithms.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and associated libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy).
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and big data technologies (e.g., Spark).
• Strong understanding of biological data types and analysis workflows (genomics, transcriptomics, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team.
• Experience in scientific software development and MLOps is highly desirable.
