Key Responsibilities

• Lead independent research projects focused on the synthesis, characterization, and application of new advanced materials.
• Develop novel chemical formulations and manufacturing processes to achieve desired material properties.
• Utilize advanced analytical techniques (e.g., spectroscopy, chromatography, microscopy) for in-depth material characterization.
• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to translate laboratory findings into scalable production.
• Mentor and guide junior chemists and technicians, fostering a culture of scientific rigor and innovation.
• Author patents, publications, and technical reports documenting research findings and intellectual property.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of extensive R&D experience in materials chemistry or polymer science.
• Demonstrated expertise in synthetic chemistry, organic and inorganic materials, and polymer chemistry.
• Proficiency with advanced analytical instrumentation and techniques for materials characterization.
• Proven ability to lead complex research projects from conception to completion.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and remotely effectively.
