This hybrid role combines strategic remote analysis with on-site collaboration to improve yield, safety, and sustainability in our client's chemical manufacturing processes.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in chemical engineering, expertise in advanced control, data analytics, and leading cross-functional projects, plus strong leadership and communication

• Master's or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering.
• 12+ years of chemical engineering experience with a focus on process optimization.
• Proven track record leading complex optimization projects.
• Expertise in process simulation and data analytics tools (Python, R, MATLAB).
• Experience with DCS/PLC systems is advantageous.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 12 years of experience in chemical engineering, with a significant focus on process optimization and advanced control.
• Demonstrated success in leading complex process improvement projects.
• Expertise in process simulation, data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB), and statistical methods.
• Strong knowledge of chemical reaction engineering, thermodynamics, and separation processes.
• Experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and on-site responsibilities.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.
