About the Role

Our client, a trailblazer in AI innovation, is seeking an exceptional Principal AI Architect with a specialization in Generative Models. This role is fully remote, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere in the world while shaping the future of AI at our company. You will be instrumental in defining the architectural vision and strategy for our generative AI initiatives, including large language models (LLMs), diffusion models, and other cutting-edge generative techniques. Key Responsibilities

• Define and champion the architectural roadmap for generative AI technologies, including LLMs, VAEs, GANs, and diffusion models.
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, production-ready generative AI systems and platforms.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to AI research and engineering teams.
• Evaluate and select appropriate frameworks, tools, and technologies for generative AI development and deployment.
• Collaborate with product management to translate business requirements into innovative AI solutions.
• Stay at the forefront of research in generative AI, identifying emerging trends and opportunities for innovation.
• Establish best practices for model development, training, optimization, and deployment in the generative AI space.
• Ensure the ethical development and deployment of generative AI models, addressing potential risks and biases.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a closely related field.
• 10+ years of experience in AI/ML, with at least 5 years focused on generative models and deep learning architectures.
• Demonstrated experience architecting and deploying large-scale generative AI systems in production environments.
• Expertise in relevant programming languages (Python) and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX).
• Deep understanding of LLMs, NLP, computer vision, and various generative model families.
• Proven ability to lead and influence technical teams.
• Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms and distributed training techniques.
