Placements24 is seeking a passionate Primary School Teacher to join our client’s team in Klerksdorp. You will educate learners in foundational subjects, plan engaging lessons, and foster holistic development in a collaborative school environment.

The successful candidate will hold a PGCE or B.Ed., be SACE-registered, and bring proven primary teaching experience with strong CAPS curriculum knowledge and excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Qualifications

• Relevant teaching qualification (PGCE or B.Ed.) with Foundation or Intermediate Phase focus.
• Registered with the South African Council for Educators (SACE).
• Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the CAPS curriculum and assessment standards.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver comprehensive, age-appropriate lesson plans across Literacy, Numeracy, and Life Skills.
• Create a positive, stimulating, and safe classroom environment that encourages active participation and learning.
• Assess student progress through various methods, providing constructive feedback and tailored support.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, school leadership, and parents to support student well-being and academic achievement.
