With a strong academic foundation in business, economics, or mathematics, and at least 5 years of experience in data analysis within retail or FMCG, you understand how pricing influences profitability and customer value.

Advanced Excel and financial modelling are second nature to you, and you’re confident in interpreting market share, customer insights, and competitor trends to shape strategies that deliver growth. You’re not just a numbers person; you’re a storyteller who can translate data into compelling recommendations, influencing stakeholders and guiding category teams toward smarter decisions. Familiarity with tools like Qlik Sense and a structured, solution-oriented approach will set you apart in this role.

Key responsibilities

This is not a back-office role; it’s a strategic seat at the table. You will own the analysis and modelling of pricing and value delivery initiatives, advising category teams on how to execute strategies that drive profitable growth.

Some of the duties for this role include:

  • Working on integrating price and market analytics into category assessments and value delivery processes, ensuring every decision is backed by robust commercial cases.
  • Track pricing execution, report on outcomes, and build capabilities across buying and matrix teams to leverage pricing and promotions tools effectively.
  • Competitor tracking, market share analysis, and customer insights will be part of your daily rhythm, as you advance analytical methods and reporting frameworks that strengthen the current team

In short, you’ll be the custodian of pricing intelligence, helping the client make decisions that matter.
