We are looking for a Preschool Manager to manage the school and drive continuous improvement in the quality of the service we provide to children and their families, and to ensure a happy working environment for the staff at the school.Key elements of the role : Manage the overall running of the school to ensure operational and educational excellence and most importantly, a happy environment.
This includes : Developing strong relationships with the children and having fun with them Managing positive relationships with the parents ensuring there is consistent, strong communication Managing the staff, ensuring a happy and productive working environment Maintaining strong relationships with schools, service providers and others in the community Managing the operations of the school (scheduling, inventory, systems, premises, HR etc.) Providing technical support to staff as we move to digital only operational systems Supporting the Director with the financial management of the school Supporting the Head Teacher in her goal of educational excellence and the implementation of preschool educational best practices Specifically, we are looking for someone who : Is playful and absolutely loves children Has strong communication skills and loves building positive, happy relationships with people and community Is a team player, always willing to help however they can Is a strong, supportive manager, and cares about the well-being and performance of the colleagues they manage Is super keen on digital transformation and encouraging a paperless and efficient environment Sees opportunities for continuous system-building and creating efficiencies and improvements in daily operations Cares about producing high quality work and continually looks at how to improve the environment around them and the work that they produce Position details : Start date : The position is available from 1 November,
Flexibility is supported.
Although the work requires the manager to be at the school, you will have flexibility in terms of coming and going e.g. popping out for a school drop off.
Qualifications and experience required : Some form of higher education qualification Experience in an administrative and / or operational role Experience coordinating or managing people Comfortable working with digital and cloud-based systems e.g. WhatsApp and Google Drive Driver's license and car Salary : dependent on qualifications and experience Job Type : Full-time Application Question(s) : What interests you about this job?
