Job summary

A leading Open Access Service Provider in Cape Town is looking for a proactive sales representative to generate leads for prepaid fibre services. The ideal candidate should have a completed Grade 12 qualification, at least 6 months of experience in direct sales, and strong communication skills. Must have reliable transport to the office, with no remote work available. Knowledge of Afrikaans or Xhosa is essential.

We are Cape Town’s largest Open Access Network focused on both Fibre To The Home (FTTH) and Business (FTTB). Our fibre network has passed over 350 000 homes and businesses in Cape Town. We offer a choice of services from over 60 of the country’s leading Internet Service Providers.

Job Duties
  • Proactively identify and generate leads for Prepaid fibre services.
  • Perform calls to inactive customers on the network to assess service feasibility.
  • Utilize provided leads to proactively connect with and engage potential customers.
  • Maintain and manage an accurate client database, preferably using Google Sheets.
  • Any other reasonable task that may be required.
Requirements
  • A completed Grade 12 qualification.
  • Minimum of 6 months' experience in direct sales, promotions, telesales and internet service provider.
  • Must possess own reliable transport to the office. No remote work.
  • Confident, outgoing, and helpful personality; a strong team player is essential.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent administrative capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Robust analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or other database management tools.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.
  • A keen desire for continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Must be able to speak Afrikaans or Xhosa as an additional language.
