Job summary

Efficiency Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled fitter to read P&ID, install and route tubing for process instrumentation, and perform rigorous tests on tubing networks. The role requires familiarity with hydraulic and manual bending tools and the ability to support fabrication tasks on site.

The candidate should hold a National Senior Certificate and a Fitter Trade Test, with at least 3 years of relevant experience, and be prepared for a hands-on, task-focused environment in Secunda.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams.
• Proficient in tubing installation, measuring, cutting, bending and routing of small-diameter tubing.
• Ability to use hydraulic and manual tube benders, cutters and swaging tools.

Responsibilities

• Drawing Interpretation: read and interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams.
• Tubing Installation & Routing: measure, cut, bend and route tubing for instrumentation.
• Specialized Tooling: use tubing tools including hydraulic/manual tube benders, cutters, swaging tools.
• Support Fabrication: install instrument stands, tubing trays, brackets and supports.
• Testing & Quality Control: perform pressure, leak, and hydrostatic tests on tubing networks.
