Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Allocate daily bank statements and finance payouts accurately
• Process and reconcile all bank statement transactions
• Finalize invoice vehicles and ensure supporting documentation is complete and correct
• Calculate and record accurate vehicle profit margins
• Cost vehicles correctly into stock and maintain ledger accuracy
• Perform weekly balancing of both debtors and creditors
• Conduct creditor reconciliations and ensure timely payments

Reporting & Month-End Duties

• Prepare and reconcile the Monthly Dealer Operating Control (DOC)
• Ensure month-end balancing across all accounts
• Compile and maintain accurate month-end files
• Audit deal files to ensure compliance with company and OEM requirements
• Maintain intercompany account balancing and reconciliation

Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12) with accounting or finance‑related subjects
• 23 years of experience in a similar role within a passenger vehicle dealership (pre‑owned experience)
• Strong knowledge of vehicle invoicing, stock costing, and profit calculations
• Experience working with dealership management systems (e.g.VMS / Kerridge / Autoline / CDK / Reynolds)
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills
• Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure
• Computer literate (especially MS Excel)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Automotive Industry experience Essential!!
