Job summary

A leading staffing firm in Stellenbosch is seeking a Programme Manager responsible for managing the WCGDoI programme. The role includes ensuring adherence to budgets, managing consultants and contractors, and maintaining project integrity. Candidates must possess a degree in Architecture and be professionally registered as a PrArch with SACAP, along with a minimum of 5 years post-registration experience in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and be able to work under pressure.

Job description

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the managing, delivering, implementation, monitoring and reporting of the WCGDoI programme.

TASK DESCRIPTION
1. PROGRAMME MANAGEMENT FOR THE WCGDoI MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME

Managing the projects allocated, including but not limited to the following:

  • Ensuring adherence with cashflow and programme.
  • Meeting deadlines.
  • Keeping the server up to date at all times.
  • Ensuring that all documentation is filed correctly.
  • Managing consultants appointments and performance.
  • Managing contractors appointments and performance.
  • Complying with all processes and protocols.
  • Management of Contracts, including JBCC and NEC.
  • Checking invoices and their correctness.
  • Reviews of invoices.
  • Review of appointments, additional fees, and any other related matters.
  • Making sure Auditor General audits are successfully completed.
Deliverables

Needs to be accurate, precise, and correct. Completed according to timelines.

2. GENERAL
  • Any additional administration tasks that may be required from time to time.
  • The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a Programme Manager.

6. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
  • Degree in Architecture.
  • Professional Registration as Professional Architect (PrArch with SACAP).
7. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Experience in the Construction Industry.
  • Experience in contracts (JBCC and NEC) administration and financial administration.
  • Experience in Project/Programme Management is a bonus.
  • Minimum experience: 5 years post registration.
