FOCI Group is seeking a Professionally Registered Chemical Engineer (Pr.Eng) to join our team. We are looking for a highly skilled engineer with strong technical capability and proven experience across industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead process design and chemical systems engineering
• Conduct mass and energy balances
• Oversee plant optimisation and performance improvements
• Ensure environmental compliance and reporting
• Support safety system development and risk assessments
• Troubleshoot process-related issues and provide technical solutions
• Participate in feasibility studies and design reviews
• Support plant upgrades, modifications, and commissioning activities

Minimum Requirements

• BEng/BSc Chemical Engineering
• ECSA registration as a Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng)
• Proven experience in process design and optimisation
• Strong background in mining, petrochemical, water treatment, or industrial manufacturing
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams

Preferred Experience

• Experience with plant upgrades, optimisation projects, and technical advisory work
• Exposure to environmental compliance processes
• Strong understanding of safety systems and regulatory requirements
