Overview

Over the last decade, Webrepublic has grown from an ambitious startup into Switzerland’s leading digital agency. More recently, Webrepublic has launched a subsidiary in South Africa to work hand-in-hand with our HQ in Switzerland. Our team in Cape Town has grown and we are now looking for a PPC / SEM Specialist to expand our local presence into a large-scale operation.

As a PPC / SEM Specialist you will be responsible for taking care of the campaigns of your clients in the French speaking areas and develop new campaign strategies to make them the rock stars of their industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting directly to the Performance Marketing Team Lead, your duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
  • collaborate with our International Account Management team to ensure client satisfaction,
  • help us create, manage and supervise Google Ads campaigns,
  • create short and concise search ads and research relevant keywords that match the search behaviour of target groups,
  • continuously analyse campaign performance using Google Analytics and other marketing attribution tools to optimise campaigns.
Qualifications And Skills
  • a National Diploma, Higher Certificate or Bachelor Degree from a recognised college or university with a relevant degree (economics, marketing, communications, media or related sectors),
  • at least 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a similar position, ideally within the e-commerce industry,
  • have a clean and precise work-style, and are a quick learner,
  • proficiency with Google Ads, Google Analytics and other relevant tools,
  • knowledge in the field of Social Media, Display and Video Advertising is a plus,
  • have a gift for expressing ideas in written and orally,
  • proficiency in French,
  • a good knowledge of English.
