Assist in the production of powder coated components from the receipt of raw materials and supplies, pre‑coating preparation, application of powder, post‑coating inspection, shipment preparation and shipment handoff to carrier.
Verify the inbound receipt of material and supplies, against shipment packing lists or purchase orders, notating any deviation in count or type of item delivered including any observed shipment damage.
Perform pre‑coat quality inspection ensuring items are free of machine markings and meet surface preparation expectations.
Remedy any machine markings or surface deviations by using hand or machine sanding techniques as required and dust removal practices.
Follow instructions on the pre‑coat startup check list to ensure the powder coating equipment is functioning as expected.
