A health research organization in Johannesburg is seeking a candidate to manage a study assessing home-based breast cancer screening feasibility. The ideal applicant will have a PhD, at least one year of fieldwork experience, and familiarity with the public health system. Responsibilities include managing interviews, training staff, and contributing to data analysis. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are preferred. Closing date for applications is 25 November.

In addition WHC offers a range of products and services to Academics.
Non‑Communicable Diseases Research (NCDR)
The applicant will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic international and supportive research environment (within the Strengthening Oncology Services Research Unit of the University of the Witwatersrand – SOSRU) and supervised by Dr Maureen Joffe, SOSRU Director, and Prof Dan ONeil (Yale University USA) collaborator on the early detection of breast cancer research programme.
Johannesburg, and the study will be based in Soweto.
