  • / hr.

Your finance expertise wasn't built to crunch numbers in isolation—it was forged to drive transformational decisions.

You've cut your teeth in the high-stakes world of private equity, investment banking, or Big 4 M&A, where precision meets velocity and every model tells a story that shapes millions in capital allocation.

But you're ready to step beyond the traditional finance playbook into something more dynamic: a role where your analytical prowess directly fuels operational excellence and strategic breakthroughs.

At Trilogy, we're seeking a financial architect who thinks like an entrepreneur and executes like a seasoned dealmaker.

You’ll partner with visionary founders and C‑suite leaders to build the financial backbone of tomorrow’s most promising SaaS and education companies.

This isn’t about maintaining the status quo— it's about engineering financial systems that scale intelligently and investment frameworks that accelerate growth.

Picture this: dissecting complex business models, reconstructing them with surgical precision, and delivering insights that fundamentally alter company trajectories.

If you thrive on turning financial complexity into strategic clarity while leveraging cutting‑edge AI as your analytical amplifier, this opportunity is calling your name.

Forget bureaucratic hierarchies and endless committee meetings.

Here, you’ll drive impact through intellectual horsepower, technological innovation, and direct access to decision‑makers who value bold thinking and rapid execution.

What You Will Be Doing

Engineering sophisticated financial models that integrate real‑time ERP data with AI‑powered scenario analysis and stress testing capabilities.

Delivering comprehensive investment analyses—complete with dynamic models, risk assessments, and executive summaries—within tight 72‑hour turnarounds.

Dissecting critical business metrics like customer acquisition costs, retention curves, pricing elasticity, and operational efficiency to uncover growth levers and strategic blind spots.

Transforming unstable business strategies into robust, milestone‑driven roadmaps with measurable KPIs and clear success metrics.

Developing and maintaining dynamic financial infrastructure that enables real‑time strategic decision‑making across diverse portfolio companies.

What You Won’t Be Doing

Getting bogged down in traditional accounting functions like month‑end closes, audit preparations, or regulatory compliance—this transcends typical FP&A boundaries.

Building and babysitting large organizational structures—your influence comes from analytical excellence, not team size.

Producing static presentations that gather digital dust—every analysis must drive actionable decisions with measurable outcomes.

Working at a leisurely pace in predictable environments—expect rapid iteration, evolving priorities, and AI‑enhanced workflows.

Waiting for approval to challenge conventional wisdom—you're empowered to question assumptions and propose transformative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and execute an AI‑enhanced financial ecosystem that powers critical investment choices, sustainable expansion strategies, and operational precision across rapidly evolving SaaS and educational technology companies.

Basic Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in private equity, investment banking, or Big 4 M&A / Corporate Finance roles (excluding audit / tax functions), with proven expertise in financial modeling, stakeholder management, and investment analysis.
  • Professional certification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CFA, CIMA) or advanced degree (MBA), coupled with comprehensive understanding of US GAAP / IFRS and integrated financial statement construction.
  • Hands‑on experience implementing and optimizing enterprise ERP platforms such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.
  • Proven track record leveraging artificial intelligence tools for financial modeling, scenario development, market research, strategic communication, and process automation.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver sophisticated financial models and C‑level recommendations that combine analytical rigor with strategic insight and presentation excellence.
  • Geographic flexibility within UTC‑8 to UTC time zones for optimal collaboration.
Nice‑to‑Have Requirements
  • Deep familiarity with SaaS metrics, EdTech business dynamics, or subscription‑based revenue models.
  • Background in designing financial infrastructure from the ground up, beyond traditional modeling roles.
  • Success in fast‑paced, founder‑driven organizations where adaptability, direct communication, and entrepreneurial thinking are essential.
