Job description

We are looking for a Policy Administrator with underwriting experience.

The purpose is to ensure that Quotes, Retention and Policy administration is done as per the HCV business model in terms of risk management.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on outstanding underwriting information
• Follow-up on inadequate policy information
• Load new policies and endorsements
• Issue confirmation of cover
• Close policies on the system
• Do diarised follow-ups on quotes & policies
• Prepare and issue renewals & invites
• Attach documents/filing on diary system
• Attend to Broker’s queries
• Attend to vehicle valuations
• Accurately identify the reason for policy cancellations/potential loss of business due to non-payment of premium by selecting the most appropriate approach to responding to the client/broker including arranging premium finance
• Attend to ad hoc tasks when required

Qualifications

• Grade 12
• MS Office - Intermediate
• Minimum 3 years' experience in insurance administration
• 60 FAIS credits
