MediaWorks South Africa seeks a creative Podcast Production Specialist to manage end-to-end podcast production from concept to post-output in Uitenhage. The role collaborates with hosts, researchers, and editors to produce audio content aligned with brand and audience expectations.

The ideal candidate brings 2–3 years in audio production, strong storytelling, and proficiency with Adobe Audition or Audacity. A hybrid work arrangement and access to a modern studio are offered.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in audio production or media.
• Bachelor's degree in related field required or equivalent.
• Proficiency with podcasting platforms and editing tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute podcast concepts, scripts, and episode outlines.
• Record, edit, and finalize audio content using industry-standard software (Adobe Audition, Audacity).
• Coordinate with guest hosts, interviewees, and production teams to ensure seamless content delivery.
• Conduct sound mixing, noise reduction, and audio mastering for broadcast-ready output.
• Research trending topics and audience preferences to inform content strategy.
• Monitor and analyze podcast performance metrics (downloads, engagement, feedback).
