Job summary

MRI Software is expanding its PMO Coordination team in Cape Town to accelerate delivery and scale governance across projects. You will support project managers, ensure consistent processes, and help maintain project documentation and reports.

The role emphasizes schedule, risk management, and governance with a hybrid working model (3 days WFH) and UK-region alignment. Collaboration with Global PMO and delivery teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in project management or an active PMO in a software professional services team.
• PRINCE2, PMBOK, PMP or equivalent project management course is preferred.
• Ability to interpret flowcharts, schedules and action plans.
• Strong multitasking and time-management abilities.
• Proven teamwork and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits and project reviews to ensure adherence to MRI 4D Framework.
• Use MRI tools and data to assess compliance, budgets, and risks.
• Prepare and present audit reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
• Provide guidance to PMs on implementing corrective actions.
• Develop governance documents, policies, templates and guidelines.
• Ensure governance is applied correctly on MRI projects.
• Drive efficiencies within PMO and coordinate with the team.
• Create management reports to track project status and performance.
• Participate in PM focus groups and governance insights.
• Assist PMs in resolving project issues and bottlenecks.
• Coordinate Lessons Learnt activities.
• Develop and deliver governance training for Project Managers and teams.
