Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Plant Manager-Training to support the operations of our Sulphur Springs Plant.

In this role, you will assist in managing production activities to ensure an efficient, safe, and cost-effective operation while delivering high‑quality service to our retail stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in leading and supervising plant staff to ensure a productive, positive work environment aligned with Goodwill's mission and values.
  • Train and develop team members to meet productivity and quality standards.
  • Monitor the flow of donations and goods to ensure proper handling and processing.
  • Support the Plant Manager in addressing employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions in collaboration with HR.
  • Aid in implementing continuous improvement strategies to enhance plant efficiency and quality.
  • Conduct monthly inspections of the facility and report on maintenance and repair needs.
  • Represent Goodwill positively within the community through ethical behavior and involvement in local activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in production operations.
  • Knowledge of inventory management, production planning, and cost control.
  • Strong supervision and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • Valid Texas Driver's License required.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, kneel, crouch, or crawl throughout the shift.
  • Able to lift or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Visual and auditory acuity necessary to perform job functions safely.
